The new 2014 edition Asus MeMO Pad 10 (ME103K) have leaked again, and now from European retailers and not just benchmark sites.
And by the looks of it, the 2014 edition of Asus MeMO Pad 10 (ME103K) seems to continue at the same specs level as its predecessor Asus MeMO Pad 10 (ME102A) which was launched worldwide during fall last year. This time the tablet seems to be even cheaper than last year.
The specifications for the new Asus MeMO Pad 10 are remarkably similar to its predecessor though. It has Android 4.4 KitKat, a 10.1-inch LCD screen with 1280 x 800 HD resolution on the IPS display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, and it has 16GB of storage with 64GB microSD card support.
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n is supported, as is Bluetooth 4.0. The cameras have a 1.2MP resolution on the front, and 2MP on the back of the tablet.
It has a 5070mAh battery capacity, have sensors like GPS, GLONASS, e-compass, accelerometer, and ports like a combo audio jack, and micro-USB 2.0. I’d expect a few color options too in addition to white and black.
When the new Asus MeMO Pad 10 is released in the US, it should be available for $199 and downwards (it’s listed with prices between €190 and €160 in Europe). The current version can be found for just $179.
Note that there is another Asus 103 tablet on the market too, but that’s the Asus Transformer Pad TF103, which was released in June already.
