17.3-Inch HP Laptop With i5 Kaby Lake And 1TB Storage Ships For $449 Ahead Of Christmas

HP have launched a couple of new Windows 10 laptops with the latest 7th gen. Intel Core Kaby lake processors lately, and one that is available for shipping just ahead of Christmas is simply called HP Laptop. This is a 17.3-inch laptop with a couple configuration options, with an average price of $449.
And at that price offers an unusual combination of specs:

The 17.3-inch screen has a HD resolution of 1600 x 900 and to keep the price at a minium, a touchscreen is available but optional. Then the processor on this particular model is the 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-7200U “Kaby Lake” processor with Intel HD 620 GPU. And it has 4GB of DDR4 RAM (2133 MHz), but it can be upped to 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM as well.

The storage is 1TB of 5400 rpm SATA, and as a laptop it also features a thin CD/DVD burner as well, in addition to a USB 3.0 port, 2x UB 2.0 ports, a HDMI port, a SD card Reader, and a LAN Jack.

The sound is actually DTS Audio with stereo speakers, and it has 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi cover and Bluetooth 4.0, in addition to a HD front camera. The battery life is 7 hours on the 17.3-inch HP Laptop, so this is a funny laptop. And it can be bought for as little as $399 with the Intel Core i3 processor even.

For one impression of how the Intel HD 620 GPU performes with something like some of the most common games, although with the Intel Core i3 processor, check out the short Intel HD 620 test below.
