12.5-Inch Windows 10 2-In-1 Tablet Dell Latitude 12 7000 Announced

Dell used CES 2016 as an opportunity to unveil the new Dell Latitude 12 7000 Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet, a 12.5-inch tablet with a choice of Intel Core m processors and display resolution up to 4K:

And like the smaller 10.8-inch Dell Latitude 11 5000, this tablet is also made for the enterprise market first of all.

The new Dell Latitude 12 7000 (7275) tablet has two keyboard options with backlit chiclet keys. The options for the 12.5-inch screen however are either a entry level 1920 x 1080 resolution or a full blown 3840 x 2160 resolution. Supported is also an optional Dell stylus. Both tablet displays are protected by Gorilla Glass too, while the tablet itself is built with a magnesium unibody at 8.11 mm in thickness.

The processor choices are Intel Core m3, m5, or m7, with Intel HD Graphics 515 GPU. RAM options are 4GB to 8GB (1600 MHz) LPDDR3 RAM, while storage options are 128, 256, and 512GB of SSD storage, in addition to the tablet also having regular microSD card support.

This Windows 10 tablet has two USB-C 3.1 ports with Thunderbolt, but included is also a USB-C to USB 3.0 Type A dongle. Other connectivity options are micro HDMI, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and optional LTE.

Dell Latitude 12 7000 has a 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. It can also be fitted with a fingerprint reader. The battery is measured as a 30 Whr battery by Dell.

The new 2016 edition of Dell Latitude 12 7000 (7275) will be launched around February says Dell, with further specs to be announced then, with a price starting at $1,049 for the Full HD version of this Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet.
