Fujitsu announced two versions of Fujitsu Arrows Tab Q665/L yesterday on May 18, with the launch set to late June 2015, starting in Japan. The Japanese entry model price is the equivalent of $1280.
Like with most Fujitsu tablets, the Arrows Tab Q665/L is IPX5/7/8 water and dust resistant, in addition to having anti-chemical functions.
Fujitsu Arrows Tab Q665/L are two 11.6-inch 64-bit Windows 8.1 / 8.1 Pro / 7 Pro 2-in-1’s with FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The processor choices are between Intel Core M 5Y10c (0.8 GHz) or M-5Y31 (0.9 GHz). They also have choices of 4GB or 8GB of 1600 MHz LPDDR3 RAM. Storage options are 128GB or 256GB SSD. Other highlights are full dual-band Wi-Fi support, and Bluetooth 4.0. It also has a USB 3.0 port in addition to a USB 2.0 port.
This Intel Core M tablet even has a pretty long 10.1 hour battery life and weighs 795 grams. The screen has digitizer support while the actual included digitizer is built into the tablet. For accessory it can be bought with a stand-alone dock without keyboard.
The tablet can detach from the keyboard with a one hand movement, since the release mechanism or button is located on the left side of the keyboard instead of in the middle, as you can see in the video below.
Since the device is mainly intended for the enterprise market, it can be custom fitted with enterprise security features like security chip, NFC, and CLEARSURE remote data erasure, though a fingerprint sensor on the back of the tablet is actually standard on this model.
